Cadmus Design Build specializes in fully integrated solar and hybrid alternative energy solutions ranging from new construction to renovation and restoration including brownfield sites. Our Integrated Energy Services include: comprehensive feasibility studies, energy audits, system design, installation and operations, including monitoring and maintenance for performance optimization. Utilizing the integration of alternative energy systems combined with hybrid design solutions and superior building methodologies, Cadmus Design Build mandates the responsible use of resources in site development and planning, architectural and engineering design, specifications, sourcing and selection of construction materials and methodologies providing superior quality, energy efficiency, environmental care and economic advantages to the built environment. The rate of return on your solar photovoltaic investment is tied directly to performance -the more power your system can harvest and convert efficiently, the lower your cost per kwh. Cadmus has developed proprietary construction, project and material management methods to increase solar production and lower costs with current installations which exceed manufacturer performance specifications by 20-40%. Cadmus Team The Cadmus Energy Team has been working with photovoltaic power systems in various applications as well as a broad range of conventional DC and AC power systems since the late 1970s. Over the past several years, our team leader has managed the development of a series of photovoltaic power systems specifically designed for large commercial buildings, including low-slope roofs and sloped metal roofs, pioneered system designs for single ply membrane roofs as well as designs for the largest thin-film photovoltaic systems in the world. These milestones include the 300kW system on the metal roof of the Beijing National City Museum in Beijing, China (home of the first three 100kW Satcon inverters), the largest thin film PV system on standing seam metal roofing, the 700kW, thin-film, PV system for the NJ Port Authority in Elizabeth, NJ, and the 12 MW, roof-mounted system for the GM plant in Zaragoza, Spain. Cadmus has partnered with SatCon Technology Corporation to offer turn-key environmental design build solutions with a holistic approach that integrates proven technologies, products and systems into custom synergistic solutions to maximize performance. Our proprietary design and project management programs include real-time data acquisition, display and tracking to provide clients with virtual project site access. This is available during the actual construction process and also provides a means for measurement, observation and verification to track performance, identify maintenance/operational needs and provide security.
